This is not a speed or bandwidth question.
I am using Spectrum and 1 of their cablevision modems. I have my own viii-port router that furnishes internet to the wired and WiFi connections. A total of two wired and two wireless connections. I exercise not accept access to the internal settings of Spectrum'southward router; it is password protected.
What must I practice to exist able to monitor and continue track of my internet information usage?

That must be an abandoned help page as the instructions given do not apply.

Thanks, that might come in handy at some point; but, my setup is more complicated than ShaPlus can handle. In that location is also a television that connects to my router and I tin't install ShaPlus on the Telly. I do not accept cablevision Boob tube and all my Telly comes through my router, Sling TV, Netflix, etc.
Is in that location a solution for that?

and
Are yous using a modem and router from Spectrum along with your own D-link router?
Yeah. The Spectrum device is a modem-router combination and does non back up WiFi.
I don't know why you posted a link on how to get my router's password/log-in data. It is the Spectrum device I don't have that information for -- and don' want it. Spectrum doesn't give out that information anyway.

Their equipment is in your house and they will not provide yous with access to information technology? There's something not quite right about that ...
Is it standard cable? If then, can you lot buy your own modem? About cable companies allow you to do then and salve the monthly rental fees. About modems allow you lot to monitor your Internet traffic, including the ability to make up one's mind composite usage. (Of course, mine doesn't agree with what Comcast says I've used ...)

I estimate I'm wondering why I would want access to the internal workings of their router. In any case, that is what information technology is and I understand why they don't want users screwing up the system and adding a boat load of piece of work to their call centers.
